Notify a claim or circumstance

If something has happened that might give rise to a claim against your business — a complaint, a letter before action, a contractual dispute, a potential breach of duty — notify us as soon as practicable. Late notification can prejudice cover.

What we need from you

Your name, firm and policy number. A short description of what happened, when, and who is involved. Copies of any correspondence (letters before action, complaint letters, emails) where you have them. The names of any other parties on notice.

What we do

We notify the insurer on your behalf. We liaise with loss adjusters and panel solicitors where instructed. We argue your corner with the insurer through the life of the claim. Notification is information for the insurer; it is not an admission and it does not prejudice the underlying dispute.

How to notify

Phone 0117 325 0027 during working hours, or email info@apexinsurancebrokers.co.uk. Outside working hours, send the email — we will pick it up first thing.

Sector context: solicitors · architects · surveyors · accountants · IFAs · engineers · IT · design and construct · insurance brokers.
